Jim McGlade

Director, Project Management

Jim is responsible for managing the development and delivery of technical solutions to assure each tenant’s schedule, cost and quality expectations are achieved.  His collaborative approach promotes a proactive mindset to help develop client-focused solutions.

Prior to joining Longfellow, Jim held client leadership positions with the several architectural firms. His experience included directing multi-disciplined teams for a variety of complex science and technology, healthcare, higher education and industrial project types. 

Jim received his Master of Architecture from the Clemson University of and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Iowa State University. In addition, Jim studied aboard at the Charles E. Daniel Center for Building Research and Urban Studies in Genoa, Italy.

Jim actively supports industry-related organizations having served in multiple leadership roles such as chapter president, international committee chair, frequent technical presenter, and author. Jim enjoys spending time with his wife Abbie and two children, traveling, and golfing.
